CountryFest – Bec Gracie Publicity

US country star Sam Barber will return to Australia in March and April 2027 for his biggest Australian tour yet, with headline shows across the country and an appearance at Country Fest Queensland in Townsville.

The Missouri-born singer-songwriter will kick off the tour in Perth on March 31 before heading to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane, with fellow American artist Josiah and the Bonnevilles joining him as special guests at all headline shows.

The tour will mark Sam’s fourth visit to Australia and his first headline run since 2025, when ticket sales meant extra shows were added and venues upgraded across the tour.

Sam has built a strong following outside his home country, with more than 3.4 billion global streams and sold-out headline shows around the world. He has also shared stages with Bruce Springsteen and Ed Sheeran while performing at festivals and venues across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.

His latest album, Broken View, has him exploring love, loss and self-discovery, with the singer-songwriter co-writing and co-producing the record.

This follows his 2024 debut album, Restless Mind, which achieved RIAA Gold certification and featured the 2x Platinum-certified single Straight and Narrow and Platinum-certified Indigo, featuring Avery Anna. Indigo has more than 728 million global streams and reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Josiah and the Bonnevilles will return to Australia after touring the country and New Zealand last year behind their album As Is.
